Basrah crudes surge amid higher global oil prices

Shafaq News- Basrah Iraq’s Basrah crude jumped more than 14% on Thursday, as global oil prices rose. Basrah Heavy crude surged by $13.10, or 14.41%, to $103.99 per barrel, while Basrah Medium crude climbed by $13.10, or 14.11%, to settle at $105.94 per barrel. Brent futures climbed $$4.90, or 5.33%, to settle at $96.88 a barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate closed $4.27 higher, or 4.89%, at $91.52 a barrel.
