Shafaq News- Al-Sulaymaniyah A drone attack targeting bases of the Iranian Kurdish opposition group Komala in Al-Sulaymaniyah province on Wednesday killed a Peshmerga fighter and wounded another, a senior group official told Shafaq News. The official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said four explosive drones struck Komala positions in the Zargwezla border area. The attack killed Omid Waisi, a Peshmerga fighter, and injured another. The strike is part of a recent wave of drone attacks targeting Iranian Kurdish opposition groups based along the Kurdistan Region’s border, which have so far left two Peshmerga fighters dead and three wounded, he added.
